In the beginning of 2020, while in the throes of a global pandemic, most every person and industry were impacted one way or another. Some of the hardest hit were events and travel industries.

With Kansas City getting world wide attention from Travis Kelci and Taylor Swift's romance (along with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs back-to-back Super Bowl wins). I figured it was time for me to share my experience spending a week around Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri.

There is something so magnificent and memorable about travel, but unfortunately our mind occasionally glosses over some of the amazing travel memories. I took a three week writing course in London that required us to keep a travel journal of places we saw and new experiences we encountered.

Providence isn't as overwhelming as NYC or DC but has a lot to keep you entertained. Newport on the other hand is a quaint, upscale coastal town filled with history and nature. From a tour of the Vanderbilt Mansion to a stroll along the cliff walk. Even with the cold weather, neither of these cities disappoint even in the colder months.

Packing for a trip to NYC can be tricky depending on what time of year it is, where you are coming from, what you are doing, and so on.

Last weekend, we were recent visitors to Richmond for a special occasion and what a great spot to visit! There was a large group of us in town for the wedding and stayed at the Omni Richmond Downtown right in the center of downtown Richmond, Virginia's capital city. The downtown area was super cute, close to the Church Hill section of town and blocks from the Canal Walk.

Montreal is located in the Canadian country in the North American region. Montreal is a great place to visit all year round, but with the weather over the spring and summer, it is just delightful to see during warmer months. Being able to stroll down the Lachine Canal and through old Montreal, grab some food in the Jean-Talon Market, or go for a hike through Mount Royal Park; these are some of the best things around downtown Montreal. The only issue is there is so much to see and do in one of Canada's most dense cities, my parents like I’m sure many others, didn't know where to start with planning so that they optimize their six days in the city.

Whether you want to take a stroll down the Tampa Riverwalk, hop on some roller coasters at a water park with the whole family, or take in some culture at the Tampa Museum of Art. In May, 2017 I took a trip from Los Angeles to Vancouver, Canada. I decided I was going to try camping out the whole way up. I would split my time between finding trails for day hikes, going for a walk on the beaches I passed, and taking classes at OrangeTheory Fitnesses along the way. I only lasted camping one night in Henry Cowell State Park.
